## Questions

### Does cropping reduce quality?

The pixels inside the crop are copied one to one, with no resizing. PNG stays lossless; JPEG and WebP are re-encoded at high quality.

### Which ratio fits Instagram or stories?

Use 4:5 for portrait feed posts, 1:1 for square posts and 9:16 for stories and reels.

### Can I crop to an exact pixel size?

Yes. Type the left and top position, width and height in pixels. With a fixed ratio, changing the width updates the height to match.

### Is metadata kept?

No. The cropped image is a fresh file without metadata or location.
