## How it works

2. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP. For JPG, pick the colour that replaces transparency.
3. Set the quality for JPG and WebP; PNG is always lossless.
4. Download the converted files. Metadata, including location, is removed.

## Questions

### How do I convert WebP to JPG?

Add the WebP file, choose JPG, and convert. Transparent areas are filled with white or black, since JPG can't store transparency.

### How do I convert PNG to WebP?

Add the PNG and choose WebP. Transparency is kept, and the file is usually much smaller.

### Which format should I use?

JPG for photos that must work everywhere, PNG for screenshots and graphics that need sharp edges or transparency, and WebP for the smallest files on the web.

### Can it convert HEIC?

Only in browsers that can display HEIC (such as Safari). Elsewhere, HEIC photos can't be decoded in the browser.
